Kelley Paul
Kelley Paul and her husband, Senator Rand Paul reside in Bowling Green, Kentucky, where they are members Living Hope Baptist Church. She and Rand were married in 1990 and are the parents of three and grandparents to one.
Kelley is a graduate of Rhodes College with a degree in English. She has worked as a corporate communications manager for companies in the telecommunications industry, including Sprint and Nortel Networks, a political media consultant, and a freelance writer. She
currently serves on the Board of Trustees for Ford’s Theatre in Washington, DC. In June 2026 Kelley published her children’s books, Good Night Little American and Good Night Young American, which tell the story of America’s founding and revolutionary history in an engaging child-friendly adventure. From the shores of Plymouth Rock to the signing of the Constitution, children will explore the pivotal moments and heroes that define the American spirit.
In April 2015, Kelley published True and Constant Friends. In her book, Kelley celebrates the inspiration and love we receive from the women in our lives through essays about her lifelong friendships, her mother, and her grandmother, who immigrated to America from Ireland in 1929.
Kelley was the co-author of Rand’s 2019 best-selling book, The Case Against Socialism. On their national book tour, Kelley and Rand gave joint presentations to audiences across the country, including such diverse venues as The Reagan Library and Columbia University. Kelley also edited Rand’s newest book, Deception: The Great Covid Coverup, which was published in October 2023 and has been praised as a “must read for all Americans.”
Kelley is active in volunteer work and fundraising for Helping A Hero, a wounded veterans charity that has built hundreds of homes across the country for veterans who have suffered multiple amputations, blindness and other catastrophic injuries. Kelley serves as the Kentucky co-chair of the organization, which has completed three homes for severely wounded soldiers in Kentucky. In 2021, Lee Greenwood honored Kelley with the Lee Greenwood Patriot Award at a Nashville music event celebrating our veterans, where he recognized her twelve years of service on behalf of wounded soldiers.
Kelley previously served on the board of The Coalition for Public Safety, a bipartisan organization dedicated to criminal justice reform. Kelley’s advocacy was instrumental in securing the private financial support to build the Hope House Women’s Center in Bowling Green. Hope House offers shelter, faith-based recovery and counseling, job opportunities and life skills to men and women whose lives have been destroyed by addiction.
Kelley is a frequent speaker and panelist for groups advocating for alternative drug policy solutions and better employment opportunities for returning citizens. In May 2019, Kelley was awarded the Excellence in Advocacy honor in recognition of her efforts to pass the First Step Act, which was signed into law by President Trump in December of 2018.
Kelley is a frequent guest speaker to civic, political, and faith-based groups across the country. She has appeared on Good Morning America, The View, The Today Show, Fox and Friends, Morning Joe, Sean Hannity, The Story with Martha McCallum, The Kelly File with Megyn Kelly, CNN New Day, FOX News @ Night with Shannon Bream, Tucker Carlson, Neil Cavuto and other nationally broadcast television shows.
GOOD NIGHT, YOUNG AMERICAN
Patriotic Picture Book for Kids (Ages 4–8)
Celebrate America’s past and inspire young readers with Good Night, Young American, a richly illustrated children’s picture book by Kelley Paul, wife of U.S. Senator Rand Paul. Publishing in time for America’s 250th birthday in 2026, this patriotic read‑aloud brings U.S. history to life. From the Mayflower and Pilgrims to the Boston Tea Party, Paul Revere’s midnight ride, the Liberty Bell, the Declaration of Independence, Benjamin Franklin’s electrifying kite, George Washington crossing the Delaware, and the Constitution and Bill of Rights, young readers can explore the founding of the United States through engaging, kid‑friendly scenes.
Perfect for parents, teachers, and homeschool families seeking American history for kids, this picture book blends adventure and learning with clear, memorable language. Vibrant art invites children to point, ask questions, and connect landmarks like Washington, D.C., Philadelphia, Boston, Plymouth Rock, and New York’s Federal Hall. Themes of freedom, courage, faith, and civic virtue reinforce values that shaped the nation.
Ideal as a classroom resource, patriotic holiday gift, or bedtime book, Good Night, Young American supports curricula, sparks curiosity, and celebrates the Semiquincentennial.
